Hi, wondering when would be the best time to sell an EC that is located in D27?
Would it be immediately upon MOP or after privatisation or some other time?
For simplicity's sake, let's assume that the economic condition is generally the same during the time frames we are considering.
Thanks for your advice and feedback.

Dear owner,

Assuming no change in economic situations, it is definitely best to sell immediately after TOP since unit is still only 5 years old. For any 99years leasehold project, as the project gets older, it gets less attractive if you were to be selling it for the same price.

Nevertheless, it will be prudent for you to plan out and seek out options if you have a need to purchase after disposing the EC.

I have known of PRs who are waiting for such projects which just achieved their MOP to get into the market. In fact I have just listed a unit which is about 8 years old where it has not fully privatised in the north last night and has already lined up a number of buyers for viewing the unit this weekend.

Do get in touch with me soon on more detailed discussion perhaps?

Dear Seller,

Re: Today’s SG Professional Choice- SGAgent.com & SGRealtor.com

You will only consider to sell when you are confident that you are financial sufficient to pursue for next targeted property or plan upon selling the property at median transacted price.

If not, it wiser to hold on to the property if you have no cash issues while gather more fund for your next targeted property or plan in mind.

Hi, if you are talking about assuming economic condition is generally the same throughout, then doesn't it make more sense to sell upon MOP than to hold and wait till its privatisation which by then your unit is already 10 years old.
