Hi, Can I know which condo you are referring to? There are cases of land not being freehold but instead a long lease of 999years or others, and the lease is running even when the developer purchase it for development. Which unit are you referring to so I can provide better advise.

Hi,

Could be various reasons like legacy reasons, will have to enquire with SLA on this and may required paying some fees. Perhaps the agent is not privy to the latest MF amount info, best is to ask the actual homeowner to verify with receipt. It could also be both units are different types with different share value.

Do you mean NEWest? If you are asking why does lease commence back in 1928, perhaps this question should be directed to SLA for clarifications. As for maintenance fees, not too sure how many different answers do you have, it could be that some agents included the sinking funds into the maintenance fees while some don't. Perhaps the best is it check with the agent if it includes the sinking funds and GST. Hope this helps.
