Hi,
What is the guidelines for rental deposit for a year rental agreement in general?

Also, if I enter into a 2 year rental agreement with 2 months rental as deposit, subsequently after the intial contract period, when I renew the agreement for 1 year would I be able to get any return of excess deposit paid intially for 2 year agreement.

Please advise.
