Greetings to you. I believe all salesperson here who have earlier replied to you have given their true opinion. I am not too sure if you have already shortlisted any properties to purchase, but it seems to me based on your enquiry that you have, and that you are seeking for opinion from the professionals here to go ahead or not.
To be frank with you, no one knows for sure what will be the best time to enter the market for purchase. For a start, if you are looking at purchasing a resale property, should the market indeed "crashes" as many buyers are anticipating, I am afraid that most owners who are intending to sell will hold off their decision to sell and wait for the upside of market to arrive before putting their units back into the market for sale again, unless they do not have the holding power. In such a scenario, perhaps there maybe limited units in the market for your choice, therefore if you are indeed looking at the resale market now, perhaps you may wish to put in an offer for your shortlisted unit now.
On the other hand, if you are looking at the primary market, perhaps it maybe advisable to monitor the progress of the market before deciding further, since if price indeed go through correction, developers will likely still proceed to launch their projects accordingly but likely to provide discounts or other perks to make the buys more attractive.
That said, I am not implying that the above will be true and accurate, as any decision made must be seriously considered by yourself and not follow any of what we have said as it will be unfair to hold us responsible for your purchase if things do not turn up as we are looking at.
