Dear landlord,
Service fees for 6 months and 1 year lease applicable is still 0.5months rental plus 7% GST. By opening up for 6 months lease although you may expect a higher rental, the prospects of losing rental during the handing and taking over period of apartment is relatively high and may not cover the service fees which you are paying. Of course, at this point of time where rental transactions are record low, being open to accept 6 months rental could be an avenue to explore and minimise losses. Else, there is no other differences except the e-stamping fees. Do be prepared to clean up and make good whatever damages involved in the apartment after every tenancy.
