Hi, we have just collected our keys to our new condo and after take measurement on-site by an interior designing firm, we were told that actual floor area is found to be much smaller than what was stated on the floor plan. Can we ask for compensation from developer?

Hi May,

There is 3% allowance in the difference in sizes before you are allowed to do anything. If there are really more than 3% differences in sizes, you can check with developers. They will advise you accordingly. However, do make sure that you double check the numbers you wrote in the S&P. And not based on the values that you remembered from the agent.
