It is normal as IAP. Do not guaranteed a loan to you. Only you got the option then you apply when you got the letter of offer then consider loan application approved. If not, everything is just verbal.

Its normal procedure, and if need be you can request an email of the amount from him/her about the IPA amount quoted. The actual loan package & amount disbursed will only be draft up in hard copy after OTP is issued.

IPA as per its name, it's only an in principle. It can be verbal or written communication via text, email or other mode of communications.

You will get a hard copy of the loan you will be getting after you are granted an option to purchase by the sellers. In return, bank will grant you a letter of offer.

Hi, yes IPA is in the form of verbal communication or thru email. And pls bear in mind that it is free and so no hard copy will be provided. If you would want to play it safe, you could always go to a few bankers from various banks.
