Hi There, i intend to buy a property at the east coast area. I need advice as to whether it is worth taking the gamble on properties like bayshore Park, Mandarin Gardens & Lagoon View considering that their lease is 99 yrs & they are already 25-35yr old properties. Will i still make a profit if i purchase it now?

Hi Desh,

You have already identified the negative aspects of these properties so why are you still considering them regardless of own stay or investment?

I can only think that such properties are affordable as compared to other newer projects with similar features like boating sea view. Otherwise, why are you not considering something new like an apartment?

I have a freehold walk up apartment in D15 along Joo Chiat 1066sqf looking at only $1m slight negotiable.
