Hi there, I have a 3 bedders 1300sqft unit for rent at The Sail condo. I would like to extend the lease personally for another 3 months short term. Am I allowed to do so? Must I pay stamp duty? How much for $6000 rent? Why some said the amount is different from 2 years ago??

Dear sir/madam,

Do you mean you are an existing tenant of a 3 bedrooms unit in The Sail and would like to extend the lease period by 3 months? All tenancy agreements should be at least for 6 months period. Revised calculations of applicable stamp fees is 0.4% of the total rental payable.
