Hi,

Purchasing a resale HDB is definitely more comfortable for the finances and you have a wider variety of locations to choose from. Further your SC wife will enjoy CPF grants, if she's a first timer purchaser. However, you will have to stay there for 5 years before you can invest in other forms of property. Thanks and may I understand your requirements further before value-adding further?

If you are a single income earner, it's more advisable to buy a resale HDB. Budget wise, more comfortable. Living in Singapore is not cheap,will be more costly, when you have a baby few years down the road.
