Hi, Presently I am in a rented apartment and my rental lease is started 2 months back. Now, I wanted to terminate the contract after one and half month. Rental agreement says if i am terminating my deposit will be not be refunded. 1) Will i be able to get my deposit back if i inform them in advance 2) Is there any other right way to get my deposit money back.

Firstly, there was no mention of the duration of the agreement. If it is a two year lease, you will be able to break lease after a 12 months period provided if there is a diplomatic clause in the TA. Otherwise it may not be possible for you to terminate the Tenancy, unless there is a special clause highlighting the termination process.Since you did not complete the lease, the deposit will not be refunded.Margaret ng.     If the owner is going forefeit the advance, is it required for me to inform them in advance that i am vacating the house? Can i inform them on the day when i was leaving? Any way they are not going to give my advance. Will there be any legal issues? Kindly clarify.
