hi... need some clarifications regarding TOP dates of condos. I am bracing for condo TOP date in June 2015, but been told by lawyers that the TOP date tends to be earlier by one year from the listed date. true or false? is there such a trend showing the TOP and actual completion of the condo. am totally unprepared with the change in TOP date is drastically different.

TOP is always likely to complete early. Have your condo foundation completed? If yes within 30months you will likely to get your keys. Read More

Hi,

The listed TOP is the deadline for the developer to complete the building for occupation. If the deadline is breached, the developer is liable to compensate the owners and pay a fine to the authorities.

As such, developers aim to complete earlier, as to have a time buffer in case of unexpected delays. There is no fixed time as to how much earlier the building will TOP; it depends from developer to developer, and if there are any unexpected delays.
