Hi, my wife and me were PR for 3 years and we have bought a resale HDB in 2018. Let say we would like to convert to Singapore citizen and obtain citizenship in 2020 and applying BTO, do we need to wait MOP of 5 years staying of our current resale HDB as we only had stayed 2 years from 2018 to 2020? Please advise. Thank you.

Hi Mr Wong,

Yes, this is applicable to all HDB buyer; to observe 5 yrs MOP before eligible to apply for BTO.
