Hi, my wife and I are both thinking of getting a resale flat by June next year. I will be 28 turning 29 years old, and she will be 26 turning 27 years old. My wife is a SPR, and I am a SC. Both working in Singapore for the past 3 years. My monthly salary is S$3400 and hers is S$2300. I will have S$47k in my CPF-OA account, and she would have less than S$3k in her CPF-OA account as she just got her PR. What are the total amount of grants we can get? We both have never bought nor own any property. Is it realistic if we are looking at 4-room resale flat priced around 430k? Thank you

Morning David,

As your spouse is SPR, you can get first timer grant for S$40k. With your combined income, mortgage loan should be approved at around S$350k to S$370k, subjected to credit assessment and based on the age of the unit that you are buying. In general, getting a unit of around $430k should not be an issue.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.
