HI, my tenancy agreement will expire in March 2021, we previously rented the place for 2 years, and hoping to renew it another 2 more years, but agent informed us that landlord would want only 1 year renewal for now, May I check what will happen to our 2 years deposit? will they return to us since he only wanted to renew for a year? Thank you

Hi, don’t worry about the 2 months of security deposit as it would be recorded in the renewal TA as well.
