My sincere apologies if a similar query has been answered before.
Is it so hard for the HDB owners affected by EIP restrictions to sell their unit in the open market these days? (say, from last couple of years) I have hardly had any viewers in the last 10 months in spite of competitive offer price (unit is in good condition and closer to city, have engaged an agent) As some of you may have assisted someone who was in the same situation as mine, may I please ask, on average, how many months did it take to get to the deal stage? I understand this can not be considered as a benchmark and depends on several factors. I am just looking for the recent trend (say last 2 yrs) so I can adjust my plans accordingly.

If your house is still not sold after a very long time , most likely is either agent problem or pricing problem .

Perhaps you can a few more agents to help you market if you are not certain of the quality of your agent ,multiple agents commonly known as open listing , and of course you need to face reality and price your property it to sell . Is ok to wait for hopeful prices in a exuberant or hot market , however in a declining market , Looks like you have to compromise on your price unless you willing to wait till next peak cycle , which may be many years later .
