hi, my owner refuse to refund me 2 month deposit
of $2800 (commercial property) She claims a lot of defects and even ask a contractor to mark up the price(obviously it is a mark up price because the price quoted were ridiculous) She has engaged a lawyer (I believe is her son as she mentioned to me her son is a lawyer) to send me lawyer letters. I have tried all sorts of methods to resolve the problems but my owner still refuse to refund me the deposit. She was mad that I did not continue to renew contract(as she have double the rental)
Can Small Claims at Subordinate Court help me. Please advice.
