Hi, my name is Iris. I would like to ask is it still possible to buy a 1-bedder apartment, (condo amenities not required) about 500K, ready for move in or TOP in 2014? Kindly advise what other fee should I prepare? Lawyer fee? Stamp fee? Thank you.

Hi Iris, do you have any location in mind? Can you share if you are purchasing this unit for own occupation or investment purposes? To own a private residential unit, you have to standby 5% cash for down-payment, 15% payable by cash/CPF OA funds (depending on you loan quantum), lawyer fees approx. $3000, stamp duty calculated based on 3% of purchase price less $5400.
