Hi, my lease is ending on 31 Mar for a 2 years lease. However, i will be moving out by end of this month. Reason for my leaving is due to financial and secondly is because the landlord have been refusing to repair things that is under his obligation. He would suggest i do it myself even if it threaten my safety. I have also spoke to him and seek his understanding but he refuse to give in or whatsoever. He say the only way is to find a replacement tenant. But the lease only left 1-2 months, how to find a replacement? I have 2 months deposit with him and i am thinking of using 1 month to offset for current month rental and forego another month deposit as compensation to him which i think it's a win-win situation but he is not accepting that. May i know what else can i do?
