HI Asha, you can choose to be located in Yishun, the rental there is lower, but further away from town. Condos in Yishun would be like Yishun Sapphire, there is a new condo coming up which is The Estuary, it should be ready for occupation next year. But I"m not sure if you can wait that long :)

Alternatives would be to be located in Ang Mo Kio which is located just right next to Yishun. There are more higher quality condos in Ang Mo Kio.
