Hi, my family just bought a HDB shophouse near ang mo kio hub in May 2013 this year and was considering of selling it. It is a 2 levels shophouse with level 2 as residential and level 1 as shop space. We understand that we will need to pay seller stamp duty for level 2 residential flat but do we need to pay for level 1 shop space as well?

Hi,
You do not have to pay the seller stamp duty for the level 1 shop space.
