Me and my wife already more than 3 years SPR. We are eligible to buy HDB resale. Can you please list down how much cash and CPF is needed to purchase the resale.
Estimated the HDB is 400k. Please break down to Cash, CPF, stamp duty, agent fees, misc, and etc.

Hi Brandon,

Cash 5%, CPF 15%, stamp duty 5% = 20k, agent fees 1% + GST, misc includes legal fees, valuation fees, application fees etc

For SPR 1st property purchase, typical breakdown as follows:
Cash 5% 20k
CPF 15% 60k
Max Bank Loan 80% 320k
Stamp duties (BSD+ABSD) & Legal fees Approx 8% 32k
Commission 1%+GST+HDB admin fees Approx 5k

Evening Brandon,

On the pretext of buying a HDB unit based on 80% loan, you will need the following funding:

1) 5% cash down payment: $20k
2) 5% ABSD: $20k
3) 15% CPF down payment: $60k
4) Legal and Stamp fee: $12k
5) Valuation and Admin Fee: $300
6) Agent commission based on 1% of purchase price, excluding GST payable: $4k
