Hi Mick,

There are several options you can explore to advertise your unit for sale for example on Classified Ads or other online portals where you can post ads for free or pay a token of money to advertise.

I am sure you have your own reasons for deciding not to engage the services of an agent, either through bad past experience or hoping to save some money on the commission part, but probably you will need to consider the amount of value add an agent like us will bring to the sale of your property.

Morning Mick,

You can give SPH a call to advertise on the papers. There are also some other website that provides free advertising but the exposure may not be ideal.

You will spend money to get renovation work and repair work done, which you can also DIY. Why choose to handle legal proceedings and such huge sums by doing DIY then? But if you ready for all the possible hassle, it's your call.

I believe most of my fellow Gurus have shared with you what are the pros and cons of engaging a property salesperson to handle the sale of your unit.

I have seen many owners tried to sell on their own and missed alot of chances to close the deal at the right price. So i hope this wont happen to you.

How you can advertise your unit, I believe you already have a good idea of how ansd where to do it. Im just curious as to why you are against or do not wish to engage a real estate salesperson. Is it due to bad experience or is it due to the commission?
