hi! jane here just. I just want ro consult regarding renting property. Our contract stipulates that we can move out after 6 months contract. The main tenant is insisting that we can only move out after end of 7 month and then we can get our deposit. What is your understanding about this.. after 6 months would mean another month?????!!!Can you help me with this regarding where we need to stand about this issue.

Hi Jane,

I think (cannot confirm though) the tenancy agreements stipulates that you may move out after staying for 6 months but required to give one month notice, therefore technically, it will be 7 month. Read the tenancy agreement carefully.
