Hi, I've just rented a unit for three months but would like to terminate the lease cause we've been feeling very unwell staying there. The whole unit is always just like oven cause the air con compressor is inside the house. Our electrical bill is so high and my kids are always making noise saying that they don't feel like coming back. Please help.

Hi,

This will depends on the tenancy agreement signed. If the TA signed did not come with a release clause, you might not be able to get back your deposit.

I couldn't understand why air con compressor is inside the house. Is there a way to isolate the compressor from the house? For example, if the compressor is installed in balcony, is there a way to seal it off using some rubber seal available in DIY shop?

There is no easy way out since you should have seen the unit before putting down deposit and rent.
