Subletting is allowed in a private property as long as the landlord consents to it.

Do note that all types of private residential property are subjected to an occupancy cap of six unrelated persons per property. Unrelated persons refer to anyone who is not part of the same family unit.
The occupancy cap also applies to tenants who sublet the property. The landlord must ensure that the tenants follow the rules.

If landlord allows, then yes.
If you're thinking of doing it without consent, you may breach your existing tenancy agreement.
Alternatively, it is possible to get someone else to replace you if you want to vacate the premises. Assign or novate.
