Hi is it commonplace for the seller agent to refuse including the inventory list in the OTP?
Context here is that owner is currently renting it out and we are intending to takeover the property right after the lease expires (1 day after) and so Agent isn’t willing to include the inventory list even though owner agreed for worry that something will be broken or spoilt.
He’s delaying the signing of the OTP even after we have put down the 1% cheque last week and is insisting we have to wait till early November.
I feel like I need a buyer’s agent to help protect my rights but just not sure if that’s possible at this stage and wanted to check in if this is a commonplace practice?
