Hi, i'm singaporean below 35 years old and my fiance is indonesian. He'll apply PR once we get married, which is next year. May i know which property should i buy with today's market condition? Condo or BTO or sale of balance or resale flat? Can anyone give me pro and cons? Thank you

Morning,

For your case, you can purchase condo or resale HDB unit under Non-citizen spouse scheme.

For resales HDB, your spouse need at least 1 year social visit pass or WP, in order to be eligible. If you are first timer using HDB loan, you will be eligible for housing grant of $15k.

For private property, your spouse do not need any WP or long term social visit pass but you will be liable for 10% ABSD.
