Hi,im Malaysian SPR about 10 years, my wife just got her SPR less thats 1 years, can we buy HDB resale flat?

Hi Sir,
You will only be eligible to purchase a HDB resale flat when your wife has met her 3 years of attaining her PR status.

Hi Brian,
The minimum condition for 2x SPR to purchase HDB resale flat is both SPR must be in the SPR status for at least 3 yrs.
Thus you will need to wait for another 2 yrs before eligible to purchase.
At the meanwhile, if you really keen to find a fix accommodation, then alternative is to look for a resale EC or small private property. After 3 yrs, upon expiry of SSD, you can then go to buy a HDB resale and dispose off the private.

Alternatively will you consider private property? I just assisted a SPR couple to purchase a resale 2 beds+study.
