Hi,

Understand you are looking for property for investment purposes.
The options are unlimited. Therefore, it is crucial to understand your financial status, some people like to use the term "budget".

You may use cash for the purchase or to get a loan for this investment. Which option is a better method? And what are the differences?
You may wish to buy a property in Orchard Road, but is this the best for investment?

I remember a mentor did highlight to me that a 1 bedroom can fetch $5~7k/month rental in CCR, whereas a 1 bedroom can only fetch $1.5k in OCR. So it is obvious that CCR property is a better investment.
The question is whether is this that simple.

Important thing is to understand what is the current price & rental trend in various regions. And look out for potential upside value before you jump into anything.
