Hi, I'm currently selling and buying my house through 1 agent and I'm doing contra. However, the agent charge me commission on both the buying and the selling part (I'm buying a resale flat and selling my current flat through him). Is it correct for the agent to charge me twice for the commission? Or should the agent only charge me once (for either buying or selling)? Please advice. Thank you.
