Hi Nancy,

The basic principles of property investments are similar be it commercial, industrial or residential property.

The only difference right now is the ability to utilise CPF for the purchase of residential properties whereas the remainder are all using cash. With cooling measures in place for residential properties, this could also deter certain investors in putting their money into residential properties as they may not intend to hold this investment for long.
