Good evening, Once you decide to engage a real estate salesperson to look for a tenant and close the deal, he/ she will take care of HDB approval, etc for you. You only need to pay a standard commission of: 1/2 month rental plus 7% GST for 1 year lease or 1 month rental plus 7% GST for 1.5 years lease. Dear landlord, A salesperson services includes marketing your property for rent, securing the tenant and carrying out the paperworks to ensure transaction is prim and proper. Technically after the tenant has moved into the property, scope of services should terminate until renewal of tenancy but I believe in today's service level,most salesperson will do their best to attend to any issues arising from the tenancy.
