Unfortunately no, you have to sell away or remove your name from your current hdb before you can purchase another hdb on your sole name. You must have also met MOP of 5 years for current flat. Thanks and hope to assist further.

Good afternoon Si Yuan,

I am afraid to inform you that you are not eligible to do so. One person can only own one HDB at any point of time. Thus you might have to sell off your current unit or transfer ownership to your mom if she is financially capable to refund the CPF OA funds you had utilised and loan if theres any.

Every HDB owner are only eligible to own one HDB at any one time. Since you are the co-owner of current unit with your mother, she will need to either buy over your share of the unit or sell the unit in the open market...

Good Evening Mr Lim,

I just handled a case exactly like yours today. I assisted my client throughout the process. If you would like to own a hdb property on your own, you would need to transfer the ownership solely to your mom. Your mom also needs to have enough CPF to cover your share of the CPF contributed to your current flat, if any, & including interest.
