Dear landlord,
Management fees differ from agent commission. There are different organisations which can handle tenancy management for a professional fees of between 10-20% of the monthly rental per month. For example, if your rental is at $5,000/month, the management fees per month can range between $500-$1000.
For agent commission, it is typically 0.5 month rental for every 12 months lease signed or part thereof. GST is also applicable. For example if your rental is at $5,000/month, the agent commission is $2,675 ($2,500 + $175).
It applies for both residential and commercial property.
