Hi I would like to purchase a commercial office space under my Company . Currently I am on an EP as Director and 100% shareholder. Will I be able to get a mortgage loan from the Banks ? I heard only local PR's and Singaporean directors are able to get the loan. How about if I put my personal Guarantee as well ? Please do advise. Thanks.

Hi Jay,

Generally speaking, most banks will prefer at least a 30% local shareholding. Nevertheless A 100% foreign shareholding is difficult but still possible subject to the fulfillment of a few conditions.

Please email the following documents to william@mortgagechoice.sg to assess loan eligibility.

Required Documents:

Lastest 6 month company bank account statement
Debtors' ageing list
NRIC copies (all directors)
