Hi, I would like to know whether is it possible to rent a 1+1 HDB (whole unit, without owner) or a 1-room HDB flat? I am looking at areas along this MRT line from Buona Vista to Tiong Bahru. I was told that some of this flat cannot be rented out at all. Can anyone enlighten me on this? I yearn to rent a whole place for myself only within my budget.

What is the budget you have? I recently rented out a 1+1 unit at Commonwealth for $1800. Perhaps you could furnish me with more details and if I have any units that match, I can let you know.
