Hi, I would like to get some advice on whether I am eligible to buy an EC...again.
I am currently staying in a EC which I bought for about ten years back. I am thinking of selling it and purchase another new EC. Am I eligible ?
My household income is about ten thousand. However my mum ( whom is staying with me and my wife ) is holding on to a couple of private properties and I do not know whether this will have any effect on me applying for EC.

Hi Steve,

Generally I do not foresee an issue with you buying another EC together with your wife to form the family necleus. You do not need to include your mum's name in the application. Do take note that you will be required to dispose off your existing EC and any other private residential properties (both you and your wife) upon completion of the new EC within the 6 months period.
