Hi,

I will be buying a resale flat next year and my fiancée holds a condominium.

After I buy the flat next year, I intend to marry the year after. I understand fhat if I Marry after I get my resale flat, my Wife will be the essential occupier and subject to 5 years mop.

However, we would have already bought the flat and condo before marriage. So how are we supposed to meet the mop?

Will there be any absd incurred or will I be force to sell back my resale flat?

Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks.

Hi Mr. Tan,

You mean you are buying next year under the single singaporean scheme once you turn 35 years old? If so, you can purchase the resale HDB under your own name. Perhaps I could make better recommendations with more info.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.
