Hi, i want to invest in a condo. I just wonder if i can have 100% loan on the condo value? Or 90% in 1 bank and 10% in another bank? Currently i owns a 4rm Hdb. Can anyone help truthfully? Thanks

Hi MR Saduruddin..

For all types of property in Singapore,the max loan you can get from bank is 80%(subjected to approval by bank).You will still need to come up with the 5% downpayment in CASH and the remainder 15% either in CASH/CPF..You cant mortgage your property to 2 different banks like what you have mentioned earlier 90% in 1 bank and 10% loan from another bank.Need any more clarification please do not hesitate to contact me.Thanks

Hi Sir,

The best alternative would be to do refinancing from bank to support both.
However, this is only applicable if you own private housing and HDB cannot used as a mortgage collateral in the new rules.
