Good morning Gina,

As of now, minimum sum is $77.5k (combined of current CPF special account funds and ordinary account funds).

This amount has to be fulfilled individually before excess OA funds can be used on subsequent property purchase.

Afternoon Gina,

If you have utilized CPF monies for your mortgage on your first property, you will need to set aside the CPF minimum sum before you are eligible to utilize the excess to pay for your next mortgage. You can pledge your current property for 50% of the minimum sum and using your CPF OA and SA to fulfill the balance 50%. If both of you are looking at using your CPF OA for the upcoming mortgage, both of you need to fulfill this requirement.
