Hi, I’m renting a room and the agent messaged me and asked for her commission fees as the owner was not paying. However, nothing in my contract stated that I was legally contracted to do so. The only mention was of renewal fees that were also payable by the landlord. Should the agent be collecting such fees from tenants?
