I OWN A RESALE HDB FLAT STILL WITHIN THE M.O.P.
CAN I USE MY 22YR OLD SON'S NAME TO BUY A PRIVATE PROPERTY?HE DO NOT HAVE ANY CPF BUT WE ARE ABLE TO PUT A DOWNPAYMENT & SERVICE THE LOAN IN CASH.
WE INTEND TO RENT OUT THE PURCHASED PROPERTY.

Hi,

Yes sure why not, legal age for property ownership is 21 years. However, do note if he is not employed at the moment and has no income, he can't obtain a home loan for the unit as no bank will be able to approve.
