Hi I need your advice. My owner refuse to refund
me 2 months deposit of $2800(commercial property) She claims a lot of defects on the premises and even ask a contractor to make up the price on the defects. Now instead of getting a refund of deposit I have to pay her $1785! She has engage a lawyer (her son)to send me lawyer letters.
When she bought this unit 2 years ago she did not step into the shop and now she is claiming a lots of defects. I have provide her the first and 2nd owner telephone number for her to check with them and she refuse to talk to them.
Can I seek small claims at Subordinate Court to help me? Appreciate your help.
