Hi, i need to understand something, im planning to take a whole hbd house under my name.
ill be moving with my friends there. My friends and i are going to share the rental for the whole house.

Is this sharing called subletting? or they are different meaning from sublet and sharing.

Hi,

Subletting means that the original tenant A rents it out to another tenant B. B will pay A rental, and A will pay the owner rental.

In your case, it is sharing, where tenants A, B, C are the original tenants, and they pay rent to the owner directly.
