Hi, I need an advice on whether is it better to buy sales of balance flat or resale flat? Me and my fiancé are first timer applicants and are looking at houses in Bedok area near to our parents. For resale flats we are looking at Newer flats as I understand majority are old houses.

Hi,

For sales of balance flats, it is always oversubscribed and chances are slim to get one. There's no harm trying but I wouldn't bank on getting one. For resale flat you have more choices, and newer bedok hdb clusters will be 22X series at bedok central or 18X series at bedok north vista 8 or 76X series at bedok reservoir longvale. I have assisted a few 1st timer couples on their resale purchase. Thanks and look forward to value add to your housing plans as well.
