Hi,

Per my understanding, the MOP requirement is

Flat bought under the Selective En bloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS)

Either

7 years from the date of selection of the replacement flat; or
5 years from the date of occupation
whichever is earlier

Has the 7 year period from date of selection being made?

Otherwise, I believe we have a strong case to appeal basef on family altruistic reasons and I am happy to assist with the write up to the case officer to help to get the approval.

If your flat is a replacement flat under SERS, you might have already fulfilled your MOP. MOP is counted 7 years from the date you selected this flat, or 5 years from the day you moved into the flat, whichever is earlier. You might wish to check back on this date and your eligibility to sell.

Even if you had not met this MOP as of today, I believe you will likely to meet it in the next few months time. If you're in an urgent need, you could try to appeal to HDB on your situation. I will be able to guide you through this appeal.
