Hi i like to know if i apply for bto flat, do i need to wait till i collect the keys for bto before i can purchase a private property, or can i buy private property after i apply for bto? it takes up to 5 years between applying and collecting keys to a bto flat.

Good morning! If you decides to apply for a BTO, you can only purchase a private property after you fulfill 5 years MOP. So the duration you have to wait after BTO application will be construction period and 5 years MOP. Hope it helps!
