I have two separate agents to represent me for my selling and buying.

Agent A : Selling
Agent B : Buying


Lets say for the selling of my house, Agent A submits the resale application on 1st of june.

When does Agent B submits the resale application for my purchase ?

To be fair, without understanding the terms and conditions of the sale and purchase, especially the timeline and financial flow involved, it will not be easy to advise. And for such cases, I always highly recommend to do it through 1 agent.

You can perhaps sit down with them separately to look into the timeline and financial flow plan.

It largely depends on whether you need the relevant money to flow from the sale to the purchase, as well as the type of properties you are selling/ buying.

In most cases, you would want to ensure the selling dates are earlier than the buying dates (exercise, completion etc...). There are a few timelines to manage and the specific dates could differ on both the selling and buying contracts even if you signed both contracts on the same day. So you need to manage that carefully as an extension on one side or a delay on the other could potentially cost you alot of money and trouble.

i would take it that you are not doing contra for your sale and purchase because that would be more complicated

Agent B can always submit right after or a few days after Agent A has submitted for the sale part as you can always write in to delay the completion if need to because you need the refunded cpf from sale for your purchase

But it would be best you get both the agent to speak to each other to work out the timeline that best suit your situation as different client has different needs
