Hi Rebecca,

I am a firm believer to only receive my due commission if I have executed what is being expected of me therefore if you have done the assignmet or sale on your own, you need not pay me for anything. Salesperson who seeks cushioning in terms of claiming allowances for marketing costs if the deal was not struck by them do not take care of their clients' interest in my opinion as they may sit back on their laurels and not focus on gettin the job done since they know owner will reimburse back to them the costs incurred during marketing.
